Founded in 2001 with an initial 10 hectare undeveloped cattle farm, the Sweet Sensations Group was born.

24 years later - we have grown to over 40 hectares across 5 farms - with over 15 million hand picked lychees every year, the Van Rooyen Family are now one of Australia’s biggest lychee growers. Read more about our story below.

Growing Sustainably

Growing for the Future

Environmental responsibility is at the heart of our approach to growing. We are committed to sustainable practices that protect our soil, water and surrounding environment while producing high quality crops for generations to come.

We are also proud to have been recognised in June 2026 with the Hort Innovations Environmental and Sustainability award of the year - an achievement that reflects our commitment to quality, innovation and sustainable growing practices. This award is recognition of the hard work, dedication and passion that goes into everything we grow.

Sweet Sensations - The Next Generation Project

We’re excited to be embarking on the build of our new processing facility, an important investment in the future of our business. The new facility will provide improved processing, packing and storage capabilities, allowing us to work more efficiently while maintaining the high standards and quality our customers expect.

This project represents another step forward in our commitment to innovation, sustainability and continued growth.
